    Photonic Developers,
Some where at the end of last week Photonic was no longer able to retrieve images from 500px. I’m getting the image titles from 500px but not the images, for the images I get the following error message:
“The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.”

Once I discovered it I did some debugging:

    • verified my 500px key & secret where correct (there are)
    • Changed to the 2013 theme to see if my theme was the problem (issue not resolved)
    • Disabled all the other plug-ins to see if there was a collision (issue not resolved)
    • contacted 500px to see if there was problem/change to the 500px API (500px says everything is normal on their end)
    • 500px support suggested getting new keys, so I did that (issue not resolved)
    • Finally I checked the Demo links on https://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/500px/ (issue is there too)

At this point I’m out of options, can someone at photonic take a look and see what’s going on?

    Thank You,
    Todd Martin

Really appreciate the super quick response.
Let’s hope its something small simple..

Looks like 500px changed the structure of their image URLs, which is causing the code to break. I have solved most of the issue for now, except for the challenge while opening a lightbox. The new 500px URL structure doesn’t provide the file extension, so when I load the image through a lightbox, the resultant image shows up as garbage (the thumbnail is fine). It looks like the Colorbox lightbox (bundled with the plugin) can handle this – I need to verify the other lightboxes.

    Stay tuned.

OK – all done. If you get version 1.46 that should help you.

    Boo-Yah!!
Installed the new version (1.46) and tested it.
Everything is working perfectly, marking this issue as “resolved”

    Thank you very much!
