• I am working on my local website. I have Nginx server. When I activate Auto-optimize plugin on my site, the homepage of my site gives 502 error.

    But when I deactivate WooCommerce from my site, homepage starts working again.

    Does anyone here have an idea about this error? What might be the cause of this issue?

  • Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    Hey @patilvikasj;
    Some feedback:
    * re-enable WooCommerce and then try running AO with only CSS, then only JS and then only HTML optimization to identify which of those 3 breaks your site.
    * try if switching to the legacy minifiers (see “Help, I have a blank page or an internal server error after enabling Autoptimize!!” in the FAQ) fixes the problem
    * alternatively exclude woocommerce’s CSS or JS (depending on what your found in the 1st step) from CSS or JS optimization

    hope this helps,
    frank
