    Hi,

after updating WordPress to version 6.5.5 I can’t access the Backend (Errorcode 503). I deactivated all plugins in order to access the backend again. When I activate WP Mail SMTP the error 503 appeared immediatly. (I saw that WP Mail SMTP is tested until 6.4.5.)

Does anybody else have this problem? Are there any ideas how I can fix the error?

    Hi @kilobravo,

Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the trouble!

As I have tested, the latest version of the WP Mail SMTP plugin is compatible with the latest version of the WordPress platform and I could not experience any issues.

I need some information from you so that I can share it with our developers.

    • While deactivating all the other plugins, please only activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin and see whether you’re getting the same error. If you encounter the 503 error, also switch to a different theme and see whether you’re getting the same error.
    • While testing, please enable the debug log by following this guide and then share the full error log to take a closer look.
    • Also provide the PHP version, MySQL DB version running on your server.

    Thank you!
