503 error when trying wp-admin/install.php

  • After creating mySQL database and uploading WordPress to the desired directory on my web site when I type example.com/wp-admin/install.php it gets back with the following message:

    Service Temporarily Unavailable
    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

    What could have gone wrong?
