503: Service Temporarily Unavailable

  • Tonight several of my users started getting the following error when trying to logon to the worpdress site

    503: Service Temporarily Unavailable
    Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!
    Please contact Support if you require assistance.

    Oddly, this only happens on specific users other users can logon.

    Several posts here on the forum, about 503 errors warn that my server may be underpowered. I have Deluxe Hosting with GoDaddy which supports up to 200 concurrent users. I don’t have that many users on my site, so don’t think that could be the problem, if I’m understanding concurrent to mean logged in at the same time.

    I’m wondering if it’s not an s2member problem.
    I’ve been able to duplicate the problem consistently.
    Users can login to the top level site but can’t login to the subsite.

    Oh, and I did contact my hosting provider about this and they said it was a WordPress problem.

    BUMP: Same problem now and host says it is a WP problem. Solutions?
