If the Twitter servers are overloaded, then there’s really nothing I can do about that.

You would have gotten the read and write permissions error because the query to the Twitter server didn’t return the correct permissions; but in this case, that’s probably just because the server was returning an error, not because of an actual permissions problem.

I’ll fix that: the error should only appear when it’s a definite permissions problem.
