504 Gateway Time-out

    Renaming files goes well at first.
    But for some reason, the site is not loading anymore at some point. It shows 504 Gateway Time-out

    I’m only changing the names of the photos and don’t know why this happens

    Hi @rensesjoers,

    You mean, your entire website? I guess you might have a website with quite a big database, but maybe your server is not powerful enough. SQL requests on your database might lock your tables and ends up in timeouts.

    Have you checked your PHP Error Logs?

    I’m only changing the names of the photos

    But you have the “Update References” options enabled in the plugin? If yes, the plugin also runs SQL queries when you rename files. Of course, when it’s done, it doesn’t do anything anymore to your install, but if there was an issue, DB tables might still be locked (and it takes times until they unlock, or the timeout ends).
