    hi, i have installed w3 total cache plugin. I have updated this plugin to latest version. During updating the plugin, there is error appearing in admin section like “504 gateway timeout” on plugin screen screen. but when i refresh the page, plugin is updated. but when i click on other sections in admin section like pages, posts. It takes a lot of time to load and many times “504 gateway timeout” error is appearing. and on the front end on website, this error is appearing “MySQL server has gone away for query” so i google it and found this line to resolve this
    $this->query(“set session wait_timeout=600”);.
    This is the link where i found this
    https://subinsb.com/fix-wordpress-error-mysql-server-has-gone-away/
    they are saying to Try Disabling / Removing Very High Memory Needed Plugins
    now i have deactivate this plugin. and move to older version.
    please suggest me how to resolve it. because it takes too much time to load the page.
    please suggest the solution as soon as possible.

    Hello,
    This issue doesn’t seem to be specifically related to W3 Total Cache. It appears that it’s related to your MySQL server configuration.
    Have you tried to disable other plugins one by one while W3 Total Cache is active and see if the issue persists?
    Also, I suggest you contact your web hosting company to see if they can look at the server logs for more information.

    Hello @adil1641,

    Yes, I understand, this means that W3 Total Cache is just triggering the issue.
    You should check with your host for the assistance on this. Once again, the issue is not specifically related to W3 Total Cache.
