508 error and CPU usage

  • I posted new stories on to the Website and had them in turn post to Facebook – on Facebook — this error message came up — 508 Resource Limit is Reached. The link still works however.
    Why did the error show up?

    I’ve also noted the CPU usage is at 41 percent. I deactivated all plug-ins and this did not change the CPU usage at all.

    Is the CPU usage something I should be concerned about?

    When I looked at my log it shows no activity for CPU or anything for the past 7 days despite working on the website yesterday and today. Sorry complete novice here. learning as I go.

    Anyone have any advice?

    That’s because your account is exceeding the resources that are allocated to it, such as CPU usage or RAM allocation.

    You might want to check with your host.

    I’ve contacted my host and they’ve said there are no issues with our account or service on their end. Their recommendation was the plug-ins which did nothing.

    did they tell you which resource limit you exceeded?
    That info should be helpful to you/them to something work with.

    talk to a technical person there who knows what he/she is doing.
