Initially I tried using Yahoo account and Gmail account using TLS and SSL with their respective ports. Server kept giving 405 and 504 errors which seems to be issues with the hosting. Hosting (BlueHost) suggested to use an email created within their account, using the cPanel. I created an email using the same domain and now when I try test it, sending to my Gmail account, it gives a 550 Administrative prohibition error in the log. At least now it is not crashing the server, but now I am stuck. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

Among all SMTP reply messages, error 550 is surely the most common. It generally comes with a side-message like “550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable” or “550 5 2 1 mail from refused spam site”.

Simply put, a 550 error code means that your SMTP server isn’t able to deliver the sent email to the user because his mailbox does not exist: either the customer has entered it wrong.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks
