Our websites have been using WP and updated plugins like yours Fixed Widget for many years.

So far no issues but recently we upgraded to your latest version 6.1.1 and there is a problem:

Please refer to the screenshots at:
    https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fNFxQqcvcU-5c0Olvh0TMklJFDWEKMk7?usp=sharing

Whenever we resize the window from big to small or vice versa, to test desktop vs mobile view, the multiple elements ticked as FIXED WIDGET get stuck and overlap on each other, causing a problem as user cannot click the element correct and accurately.

Please check and assist ASAP thank you!

By the way how do we roll back safely without losing any edits/changes?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey meideserve,

thanks for reaching out and making us aware of a potential issue.

    > By the way how do we roll back safely without losing any edits/changes?

There is a “Previous Versions” section on this page. The last update did not change any options that you should lose when rolling back.

I will look into the issue as soon as possible.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
we have a similar issue at our website. After resizing the window to check for mobile view the sidebar content gets bigger and overlaps. Setting the Plugin version back is helping for now.
Thank you for looking into this.
    Best regards,
    Andre

    Hi Andre,

I just uploaded this development version with a fix for the resize issue. Would you be able to test it on your site and give me feedback?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

Also reporting the same issue on my site. Upon first load, fixed widget is working, but breaks upon window re-size > 1px.

Rolled back to 6.1.0 – issue persists.

Tried the dev version posted above, and it fixed the issue – thanks Thomas.

    Hey meideserve,

thanks for your feedback. Is that correct that you run the latest version now on https://meide.sg/hari-raya-puasa-2022/ and the issue is the “To Top” button in the sidebar jumping to the top when scrolling. Or is there more?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

No, there is no problem with “To Top” button. The problem is:

    Hey meideserve,

    thanks for your feedback.

I cannot reproduce the issue. I tested it in two browsers.
When you install the fixed version, please make sure to update your browser cache. It could be possible that your browser still uses the previous script.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi,

I think I have a very similar problem. Whenever I resize my window, the fixed widget on the right moves to the left of the window, breaking up the page.
I went back to version 6.1.0 and that solved the problem for me.

I hope you’ll find the cause, Thomas, so I can go back to the latest version.
    Ton
