    Hello Darian, @d0153,

The updated version of 6.2.0.1 crashes our site completely.

    PHP version 8.0.30
    WordPress version 6.3.1
    Theme Avada version 7.11.2

I disabled Avada 7.11.2 and activated the current version of Twenty Twenty-Three. Then I activated the plugin Events Calendar 6.2.0.1 and there was no problem. As soon as I switched back to the Avada theme, the website crashed. As a result, the very same error below was posted to domain.php.error.log at that moment.

There are no customizations in the (CSS or function.php) installation.

I reverted back to 6.1.4 to restore the plugin and website. However, Slimstat Analytics (5.0.10-5.0.10.2) doesn’t work with the 6.2.0.1 version either, which adds another level of complications.

    Thanks,

Hi @inndesign, that’s not good. I suspect that this could related to another issue with the Pro version we’re working on. We would see if it is. We would need more information for this one. Could you bump a ticket to our HelpDesk, and please do mention Darian or me on the ticket?

We are looking forward to helping you with this one.

    Best,

    Greetings @abzlevelup and @d0153,

I submitted a ticket as “other” from the Help link provided.

My updates are as follows in case the help page submission fails.

The recently updated version of 6.2.1 still crashes our site completely when activated with Avada version 7.11.2.

When I deactivate Avada Builder 3.11.2 (version with Avada 7.11.2), the site restores. Therein lies part of the problem, Avada builder’s dedication to Event Calendar is not compatible since 6.2.0. I reverted back to The Events Calendar 6.1.4 to restore the plugin and website. I also had to revert the Avada theme back to version 7.8.2 to regain a reliable website.

My developer who is a veteran at coding says all his clients experience constant issues with The Events Calendar. He looked over my conflict and confirmed it was an issue with Events Calendar 6.2.0, 6.2.0.1, and 6.2.1 against Avada version 7.11.2. He could not ascertain the cause.

    Thanks.

    Hi @inndesign

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

Are you still experiencing the issue using the latest version of our plugins? As always, please try testing this first on a staging version of your live site to avoid unnecessary downtime.

If you have not created a staging website yet, you can easily do so using the WP Staging plugin.

    Looking forward to your reply.

@d0153 As expressed in the support ticket, I simply don’t have time to jump through hoops right now to isolate the issue with Event Calendars. As previously noted, I moved back five versions on the Avada theme and several versions on the calendar and they get along fine. Will address this issue further after a few releases are generated, to hopefully self-correct the problem in time.
