• When upgrading to ITS 6.7.0 on a handful of test sites, the notifications have all been reset to a stock configuration. It changed the database email address to the site owner email overwriting the defined email and it automatically re-enables the Daily Security Digest which still sends out a daily email even when there’s no activity (previous bug).

Is this something that can be cured in 6.7.1?

  • Hi,

We haven’t been able to recreate this. Are you able to email me at [email protected]? I’d like to ask some sensitive questions such as access to a backup, sever configuration and plugins being used.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Hey Gerroald – this happened to me too. As soon as the last update was pushed out, I’ve been getting hammered with notifications that I wasn’t getting before. I have a few hundred sites, and now they are all sending me notifications.

    Hi Amy,

Are you able to share a full backup of the site? You can send it to [email protected].

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey All,

What happened is that if there’s no email it will use the defaults. We could have either done this, or picked a random admin which wouldn’t be ideal either. Of course you can deselect which ever notifications in don’t want to receive in the Notification Center. And your settings will be respected moving forward.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

Just curious if this was going to get fixed in the next release of ITS and when that might be. Thanks!
