6 vCPUs on dedicated host pegged at 100%

Hi. I see this topic was mentioned 5 months ago. I have a busy news site with thousands of images in the media area. Running Ubuntu 18 with 6 vCPUs and 16 GB Ram. I just upgraded to WP version 5.7 when my web server became virtually unreachable. Connecting via SSH command line I see all CPUs pegged at 100%. When I deactivate your plugin normal CPU usage returns. I have tried this several times an your plugin is definitely the culprit.
