60 subs … 200 emails sent LOL

    So I sent out my first newsletter last night to a small test group of 60 live users. I set it to send 1 email per minute to be super safe. I wake up this morning to find it has sent out 200 emails. FANTASTIC!! This thing finds me subs on its own!! It’s like magic!!

    Oh wait, some subs got sent 20 emails. I’m sure they will be very happy about that.

    Any way we can make it so it sends just ONE EMAIL PER SUB????????

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused, it is supposed to only send one email per subscriber.

    I have some questions if you can please answer them to give me better insight:

    1. What are your email scheduling settings? How many emails per what interval?
    2. How are you sending emails? Local mail server, SMTP or an API?
    3. Are you using the WordPress cron as normal or do you have a special setup with a server cron job?

    Unfortunately there is a know issue when setting the email scheduling to 1 email per interval that 1 email remains in the queue and is not removed.

    Can you please set it to more than 1 at the moment? Like 2 emails every 2 minutes maybe?

    We have already fixed this and will release an update shortly.

    This is very good to know. You might consider just not making 1 email or 1 minute interval an option or at a minimum have some sort of warning to the extent this is a known issue.

    As an aside, what in your experience is the safest but fastest interval for email blasts?

    Yes thanks and sorry about that. We are releasing a fix for this shortly.

    You can set your queue to 100 emails every 2 minutes. Just check with your hosting provider if you have any email sending limits please
