Akismet keeps spamming a regular poster

I don’t know why, but this suddenly started happening to me also. akismet trapped 1000 spams for me without even one false positive, and I really did check through before deleting.

In the last 3 days suddenly it’s doing a lot of false positives, including from one of my writers! It’s really wierd. She and one other regular commenter both come from AOL, even the same IP via aol, and maybe that’s why it is trapping both as spam…

But if there’s a sudden flaw in the akismet servers, I hope someone notices soon.

I use Bad Behavior + Spam Karm 2 personally. I can’t stand Akismet.

This false positive thing suddenly happened to me too. How can we fix this?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve told Akismet probably 10 times that this guy’s posts aren’t spam, and yet they keep getting identified this way. Can anything be done?

Gee, why don’t you ask the programmer? Akismet’s a piece of junk.
