REQ: plugin user control

    I want some more controle over my users. I will give a list of what I need:

    1) Users can register, but the registration will only be completed if I (admin) have approved it. In the admin panel I will have a list of users who want to registrate. I can accept or deny them. Both will sent a message to the user if they are accepted or not. If accepted, it will also sent the registration info like username etc.

    2) Users can be member for a period of time (set by admin) In the admin, there will also be a list of all accepted users with a start date (when they registrated) and the end date. A week (set by admin) before the end date, the user will get an automatic e-mail to extend it’s registration. If it want to do this, it will be put in the registrationlist again (like done above in 1). If he doesn’t reply or don’t want to extend, he will be auto deleted.

    This will keep the site and userdb much cleaner and take a lot of work away from admins.

    I need a plugin like this as well. Can someone help us, pls? ??

    I’ve been looking for number 1 above especially. I don’t even get notification when someone has registered as a user and since the blog is mine I’d like to know when someone registers or applies to become a user or author, and I’d like the right to be able to approve or deny the applicant.
