• Hello,
I am new to WordPress and am in the process of creating a blog for an organization. I design on a MAC and edited a template. I checked the site’s view on MAC – Safari, FireFox and IE. I even checked the look on a PC IE…albeit it must have been a while.

Everything looks great on all versions of MAC browsers. However, I got up this morning and booted up my little PC to check it out and “oh my god!” the entire navigation bar is at the bottom of the page instead of on the right as it should be.

I realize this is probably an issue with CSS…but I’m not sure. I am not that familar ((an understatement)) with PHP so I am pretty much on a hunt and peck method there.

Has anyone run across this problem before?? If so…could you point me in the right direction as to where to look and fix??

    Thanks in advance,
    Kary

  • It has nothing to do with PHP.
It has been posted about 1,000 times…
If you have anything in the sidebar or in the content area that is wider than the width defined in the CSS – it will always happen.
The “wide thing” can be an image, a long link, a hidden script’s long line… almost anything.
