I changed webhosts, and imported my old WP databases. However, now every time I try to create a new entry, it gives it a post ID of 0, leading to all sorts of problems. If I try to post 2 new entries, I get the error that there is a duplicate entry, etc. How do I get WP to stop doing this?

Version of WordPress on new host? Version on old host?

If there’s was a discrepency between the two versions, did you run wp-admin/upgrade.php at the new locale?

Same version on both. I have a blog running on a subdomain as well, and that one did require upgrade.php to be run, but I still have the same issue there as well.

Hmm. I can’t say offhand then what’s causing it, because the only time I’ve seen it mentioned is after an upgrade. And the few times I’ve come across a fix, it involved doing something to the database (such as running upgrade.php against it) to resolve it. For example:

    https://trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/2094

But the ‘fix’ mentioned there is not very descriptive.
