I upgraded to the latest version of Directorist and it looks like this https://www.loom.com/share/b93293f1f1f348d183afcc0e4709da0a. All of the formatting disappeared

What the heck is wrong here. I ended up going back to 6.5.8, which worked. I have been avoiding updating this plug-in, as every time I do something happens. Could you tell me how to go about updating this and fixing this type of situation?

    Greetings,

We are sorry for the trouble.

May I know the theme name so we could try locally with the new version of the Directorist?

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi there –

Spotted this thread and while I am not the original poster, it’s highly likely we’re experiencing the same thing as the original poster as 7.0.3.3 did indeed wreck everything for us to. We rolled back to a much earlier version (6.5 as well) so that we could stay up and running with it (link to working, older version: https://dentagrafix.com/find-a-doctor/). I do realize there seems to have been some major changes to the plugin so suspect that might have something to do with it.

I have taken a screenshot with notes of what the update did on this particular site. You can view that here: SCREENSHOT OF ISSUES

Hopefully we can together all get to the bottom of it.

    Thanks!

The theme is Divi, but it’s the same with any theme. I tested it out. Obviously, it’s an issue, because the previous poster to my post is having an issue as well.

I’m having pretty much the same issue with the WordPress Twenty-Seventeen theme.

I’ve rolled back to 7.0 which seems okay, but anything later than that breaks the search listing.

Appreciate any help you can give.

    Thanks!

Any update on this? Does not seem to be theme specific, so clearly something up with the plugin. Thanks

    Greetings everyone,

    Thank you for your patience.

You see not everyone is facing the same issues. The author of this post had a different issue while two of the users having similar ones. We handled over 600 tickets after the last release and very few of them having issues with the search. It is not always the product that causes the issues, most often it is the combination of plugins you are using.

Every release may include new features that might conflict with another. You can claim that v6.5.8 didn’t have such conflicts but v6.5.8 didn’t have all the new features either. So, without a proper conflict test and debugging it is difficult to find the root cause of the issues you are facing. Here is a guideline to perform a conflict test – https://directorist.com/documentation/directorist/articles/how-to-perform-a-plugin-conflict-test/

Also, the next version of the directorist will be released on Monday which will include quite a few major fixes. Please contact our support here https://directorist.com/contact/ if updating doesn’t resolve the issue. Support representatives will dedicatedly look into the issues which will expedite the resolution time. In the meantime, you may also perform a conflict test to check if there is any conflict.

    Kind Regards,
