7.7.3 Update: Twitter Card Images Missing

Indeed I also tried to debug the links to my posts on twitter https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator and they return the message “ERROR: No card found (Card error)” since the last update. Yoast should check out this issue.

We checked the source code for https://thereviewwire.com/christmas-in-july-hop-games-galore-giveaway/ and you have two sets of Twitter cards. One being outputted by Yoast and another being outputted by SmartCrawl. We suggest having only one set as more than one may be confusing for Twitter.

If you want to disable Yoast’s you can via SEO-Social-Twitter. But if you experience issues with it you will then need to contact SmartCrawl as you are no longer using Yoast to create the cards.

Whichever way you go be sure to clear all your caches before you re-share to Twitter.
