70% of conversions don’t get reported in GA

  • I use your plugin on a store of a client.
    In May it the GA stats suddenly dropped 70% despite the actual sales as recorded by WooCommerce increasing: Screen: https://ibb.co/KNWPjHN
    The above screen incorrectly shows a drop of 50% sales on desktop and over 70% sales on mobile.

    The error started with your plugin version 1.12.1 – but currently none of them are reporting sales correctly.

    Our current config:
    GTag manager: 1.13.1
    WordPress: 5.7.2
    WooCommerce: 5.3.0

    We have not been able to reproduce this issue. When we open the “thank you page” of an order ourselves, the GA script is included with all order values and makes a request.
    We debugged it on Chrome Desktop, Android 11 and iOS 14.6 (real devices, no emulators) and they also execute the script as seen when connecting them via remote debugging to a computer.

    Did you recently change anything regarding the required order status for a sale to be included ?? (we have lots of custom order states for shipping etc.)
