subscribe 2.2.2.2

  • Hi,

    i have installed the Skippy-Plugin (https://www.skippy.net/blog/2006/02/15/subscribe2-222/). Working fine except one thing:

    If anybody subscribes for the newsletter and confirms the subscribtion via the link in the e-mail, a site is shown including all content of my static sites (RSS, Impressum, Newsletter), not only the confirmation for the subscription. Same Problem when unsubscribing and confirming the e-mail.

    If the problem is not to understand caused by my bad english just take an look at https://www.loseblatt.org/newsletter/ and try registering.

    Anybody any ideas?

  • In WordPress Option -> General are your WordPress URI and Blog Address URI the same?

    The sites you mention are all sub-sites of your main domain. If these two are different then it may be causing the problem.

    I was having the same problem – seemingly random content under the (un)subscription confirmation. I managed to boil it down to a conflict with the Page Links To plugin.

    Disabling the links to plugin didn’t help though, I was able to solve it by changing S2PAGE to the page number the subscription form was on.

    // by default, subscribe2 grabs the first page from your database for use
    // when displaying the confirmation screen to public subscribers.
    // You can override this by specifying a page ID below.
    define(‘S2PAGE’, ‘0’); <– change to your page ID.
