• I realized today that FeedBurner wasn’t picking up my feed. When I try to validate the feed on their site, I get this error message:

Server returned HTTP Error 500: There was a problem retrieving the feed: com.burningdoor.rsspp.resource.impl.HttpConnectionException: Error getting URL: 404 – Not Found [help]

I am using WP 2.01 and FeedBurner Feed Replacement v. 2.02. It appears the error started about two weeks ago and I’ve not made any changes except for activating Askimet for spam. I tried de-activating all plugins and it didn’t resolve the issue.

The feed URL generated by Feed Replacement is:

    https://MediatorTech.com/feedburner_469310/

It does yield a 404. I’ve worked several hours to resolve this and read every other “missing/problem RSS” file I can find on your site, to no avail. Gosh, I hope someone out there can help me! Thanks!!!!

  • I have the EXACT same problem and it started at the same time as you. Something is going on. I emailed feedburner and they got back to me (message below), but I’m guessing this is a WP issue, as I can’t even get my base RSS feed to work even if I disable the OrderedList plugin. Anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Feedburner’s reply makes no sense, but here it is:

It looks like you are using the WordPress FeedBurner plugin from OrderedList. But the urls seem to be reversed for some reason. Usually your real feed would be available at your https://nofilmschool.com/feedburner_315752/ url instead of it being a redirect to https://feeds.feedburner.com/nofilmschool/. You may want to try reconfiguring or reinstalling the plugin from scratch. You may want to check out this thread on our forums https://forums.feedburner.com/viewtopic.php?t=2448 as it may have more advice on what to try.

Are you using the Category Visibility plugin? It seems to be what broke mine.
