Is this a sore subject here? ??

Don’t bump after 30 minutes if you don’t want your posts deleted… please!

Be patient. Your question might need some special knowledge – so wait until a helper with that knowledge shows up.
BTW, you just successfully removed your post from the un-answered topics queue. Most helpers go there first to start. Next time keep in mind this!

You are using “<ADMINNICENAME>” as the name of one of the users?

Don’t do that, would be my suggestion.

Go to the Users Panel and find the admin user. Give him a nicer name. The admin’s name is the creator of the blog. Specifically, remove the <>’s around his name.

thanks. Here’s the issue. It would let me edit the name. And there are no <> around the name.

    Thoughts?

wait! There was an option to do that! Thanks!

Once I figured out what it meant, it was an easy fix.

IN my case, ADMINNICENAME meant I had not chosen an author for my posts.

    picking an author fixed this.

of course i spent hours trying to fix it so now i am traveling to the forums i visited and posting my solution. hope it works for you

I having the exact same problem, getting an error message about ADMINNICENAME.

Could someone tell me the process of how “to pick an author”
to fix this as suggested in the earlier post.

Is it Users -> Your Profile and the “nickname” field?

    Thank you.
Users -> Your Profile and the “nickname” field
worked when I added a nickname, and now the rss feed works as well.

When I added the nickname I could see that
ADMINNICENAME was in the drop down menu as well.
