8.3.11 crashed BuddyPress site

    After upgrading to 8.3.11, we had whitescreens on our BuddyPress pages (/members e.g.).

    From the logs:

    [27-Feb-2018 10:55:35 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /var/www/vhosts/…/wp-content/plugins/squirrly-seo/models/services/OpenGraph.php:215

    Hi,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    Seems that another plugin adds a filter on wpml_get_language_information and returns WP_Error because that function doesn’t return error WP_Error by itself.

    I will add an upgrade with a fix for your site.

    Hi Calin,

    this is great. Would you please let me know when the fix is available? If this is the case on the short-term we could re-activate Squirrly, otherwise we would have to switch because it is a productive site.

    Hi Bernhard,

    I committed the changes on WordPress directory and the fix is available but you have to reinstall the plugin or to wait for the next version.
