8 Cookies by Complianz

    I see that complianz plugin sets 8 cookies which includes marketing and statistics. Does that transfer my visitors data to complianz?

    And in the wizard – under service descriptions, there is a check box that asks if data is shared with this service. Should I check it or leave it unchecked. If unchecked will the plugin cookies still send data?

    Please rest assured that the plugin works exclusively on your own server, Complianz has no access to the data of your website and it’s visitors and no data is shared with us.

    In addition, these “cmplz_” cookies are solely used to remember the user’s consent preferences and do not contain any personal data. You can read more about
    them here: https://cookiedatabase.org/cookie/complianz/cmplz_marketing/

    The checkbox “stores personal data” simply concerns whether that cookie stores/contains any personal data, according to the available information on CookieDatabase.org. But enabling or disabling that option for a particular cookie does not have an effect on whether it “sends data” or not.
