I’ve recently started seeing this message:

    https://oldfishandlemonade.com/error.jpg

“Error: Could not find the template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditorTemplate”

I’ve been using the same template for over a year and have never had any trouble. So far as I can tell it’s an annoyance, as I am still able to post via WP. Please tell me how to stop this from showing up when I go to write a new post.

    Thank you.

  • I noticed you marked this [Resolved], but, can you let everyone else know what you did to “Resolve” it? This might help others that are having the same problem as you had.. =) ??

I’m having the same issue. How do I resolve it?

    Hi,

I am having same problem all of a sudden. Upgraded from 2.0.6 to 2.1.1 last week. The rich text editor would not work for me (it did not show up on the write entry pages) and I saw a solution somewhere else that said I had corrupt wp_includes folder. I uploaded again from scratch and now I get this error about the missing getEditorTemplate.

    Anyone help me please?

    AH.

It works now! I re-uploaded the entire wp-includes folder (again) and this time it all works fine, sorry for bothering you.
