They are 85 temporary redirects on my site (302 and 307 redirects to my validation page) instead of having permanent ones (301/308). Ex:

On my Semsrush report, they wrote that it was hurting my site’s health a lot.

I was advised to come here for an answer.

    What should I do?

    Thanks,

    Delphine

    Hello cdelph75,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

Could you please clarify where you were advised to contact WooCommerce regarding these redirects?

Additionally, could you provide more details on how these 302 and 307 redirects were created?
Once I have a better understanding of how this relates to WooCommerce, I’ll be happy to assist further.

Looking forward to your reply. ??

    Best regards.

    Hi Zubair,

Really sorry to bother you I was directed to your team for help. The wordpress.com redirected me to the www.ads-software.com team who replied with this below message :

It’s intentional that cart and checkout pages are redirected back to the shop, because you don’t want those indexed by Google (and other search engines) at the expense of other pages on your site.

If you have any more questions about that, I recommend getting in touch with WooCommerce’s support via https://woocommerce.com/my-account/contact-support/ if you have any of their paid WooCommerce products or https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/ if you do not.

Those redirects were mentioned to me by Semrush in their report. All my links are directing to : https://www.mentalosophy.com/commander/

The thing I don’t understand is that my shop is on view mode only a I am creating it. Why is it creating conflicts then if everything is normal? I just want to be sure that all is fine despite that report.

    Thanks and best regards

    Hello cdelph75,

    Thank you for your reply.

WooCommerce typically redirects customers from the Checkout page back to the Cart page when there are no products in the cart, and a message like “Your cart is empty” is displayed.

However, if you’re seeing multiple redirects (as flagged by Semrush), it could indicate an issue caused by another plugin or custom code on your site.

Could you share a screenshot of the redirections that you’re seeing? It would help me check which pages are being redirected and where.

Additionally, please share your site’s System Status Report (you can find it under WooCommerce > Status), as this can provide more insights.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hi Zubair,

Sorry, just to be sure : I should copy and past my whole status here? I don’t see a way to add a document. Both information are taking some space.

    Thanks,

    Hey @cdelph75 ,

If you prefer, you can upload the system status report by using?Pastebin, and then share the link with us here.

Additionally, you can use a tool like Snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots. Please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi there,

I tried, but the sites themself don’t feel safe.

I am sending you Loom videos. Hope this will help.

    Videos of my Woocommerce report

Videos of my Semrush report showing the 85 temporary redirects.

    Thanks,

    Delphine

Hi @cdelph75 – that report shows all your site pages contain a link to a page that is redirecting to another page. It looks to be in your site’s navigation menu.

On your site, go to the navigation menu > Boutique > Validation de la commande – it’s that item that points to https://www.mentalosophy.com/commander/, but when visited, redirects to https://www.mentalosophy.com/panier/.

It’s unclear from your System Status Report what is responsible for that redirect. But, to fix it, I would suggest updating that item in the navigation menu, so that the menu item itself points to https://www.mentalosophy.com/panier/ to begin with, so there’s no redirect to worry about, resolving the issue.

Click here to learn about how to edit the default WordPress menus. If you’re using a mechanism provided by your theme, then refer to your theme’s documentation instead – your System Status Report shows you’re using the Kadance theme, so click here for the KadanceWP theme docs.

Let us know how it turns out.

    Hi there,

I created products, and it seems that all is back to normal although the shop is still not visible.

I just received a new Semsrush report. I don’t read the 85 mistakes anymore.

I did not understand why this happen but I see that it’s fine now.

    Thanks,

    Delphine

    Hi @cdelph75,

    Thanks for letting us know!

We’re glad to know you don’t receive the 85 mistakes notifications anymore. If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review:?https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
