9.8. The maximum length of messages!

    The new version 9.8 cuts off messages. The maximum length is just about 5000 characters. The previous version worked well. I received long messages: 20, 40, 100, 200 thousand characters. Check, please. Unfortunately, WP Rollback does not work with your plugin.

    Hi Oleg,

    I have set a limit to the message field to avoid abuse. Thought 5000 characters was enough. In your case it’s not.

    I will remove it again in next update or will add an attribute so you can set your own limit via the shortcode.

    Meanwhile you can easily set your own limit in plugin file vscf-form.. look for: maxlength="5000" and change this to your needs.

    It doesn’t work. The form still takes only 5,000 characters.

    Yes, it works now. I cleared the cache twice. And cleared compressed scripts. Also twice. After that, the form began to work correctly (35,000 characters). Thank you for help!

    Hi Oleg,

    FYI: after some more discussion I have decided to remove all max character length of inputs again, in next update.
    So after next update you can remove both attributes from the shortcode.
