• Bought the plugin years ago and actually gave support up after some contact with the original developers of the plugin.

Now, after years and new ownership of the plugin, got support and a satisfying compensation for the bad support in the past. So on that issue I would give 5 stars.

However at a ‘report all errors’ the plugin writes an enormous number of notifications and warnings to the error log. The plugin itself is fully functional but could use a lot of cleaning up for the code.

Since I can’t give ‘4.5’ stars, I was in doubt to give 4 or 5 stars. But since I hope that the new owner behind the plugin also works on a better quality of the code, I gave 5 stars anyway.

@wvdploeg ?Why you blame me? we just bought the plugin 01/2021 and from 01/2021 giving all users since 2013 a working and supported version.

I also wrote directly to you and gave you a superb solution for you.

This is also a paid license review and should be removed please.

Yes, you did. But when I wrote you it doesn’t work, I didn’t get any response anymore.

Of course I can’t blame you for things that went wrong with the company before you took it over, but on the other hand, when you take over a company, you take it over with the responsibilities the company has.

Which is delivery of the promised product.

When you offer a solution, the solution does not work and your support stays silent however, that IS something you can help. If it would be a working solution I would be quite happy with it, but since it does not work, and you do not follow up on support requests, what else do you respect from me? I’m not satisfied and review the product as I experience it. Make the offered solution work, and I’m very willing to ask for removal of this review, since it would not apply anymore.

@wvdploeg “Make the offered solution work, and I’m very willing to ask for removal of this review, since it would not apply anymore.” That’s what we call extortion and that is not acceptable here.

Sorry, it was all but meant that way. But @tobias_conrad offered a solution for the problem if I would ask you to remove the review. The solution he offered however does not work and when I wrote him directly (a week ago already) he didn’t respond. So I tried to contact him here.

I do see however it might sound/look like extortion, but as tobias already said before :
    > I also wrote directly to you and gave you a superb solution for you.
That solution indeed would be satisfying *if it would work*.

It’s not extortion, but it’s accepting an agreeable offer @tobias_conrad made. But since I have no means to contact him otherwise than here, I tried this as a last resort.

Btw, my problem with the plugin is that I bought a non functional plugin. I was not aware that in the meanwhile the company changed ownership. When really the proposed solution would / will work, I’m more than satisfied and every reason to leave a negative review would disappear. But until now, I’m still left with a non working plugin where I paid for years ago.

The company currently selling the plugin came with a good offer to compensate for it, but do not follow up on that offer.

Indeed I can’t blame them for what the company they took over did do wrong, but since they do not follow up on the promises they make, until now I can’t see a lot of difference between the policies of the former company (which didn’t respond) and the current company (which after a few promises doesn’t respond anymore either).

All I expect is @tobias_conrad to follow up on his promises, and I’m satisfied.

    – A discussion between Wilko and the me.
    – Me offered a solution in the message on 14/Apr @ 06:17.
    – I answered the ticket but since that no response from Wilko.

I feel my answered message with subject “Re: Your WebinarIgnition contact person” is in spam folder because Wilko was not responding.

Still we have the opportunity to live chat as a second way.

Best regards and happy day Tobias

PS: I also sent mail via ticket system again.
