#_24HSTARTTIME_LOCAL error on Mac OSX Chrome/Safari

In using the #_24HSTARTTIME_LOCAL placeholder in a Settings > Formatting snippet, I see that on Mac OS 14.4.1, it works beautifully on Firefox 125.0.3 (64-bit) but the JS doesn’t work on Chrome 125.0.6422.77 (Official Build) (arm64) or Safari 17.4.1 (19618.1.15.11.14), where in both browsers it just displays the default “JavaScript Disabled” text. A similar placeholder, #_EVENTTIMEZONE_LOCAL works perfectly in all these browsers.

Unfortunately, the JS consoles in these different browsers are not giving any useful information about the error.
