#_EVENTEXCERPT is not working properly

    Hello,
    #_EVENTEXCERPT function is not working properly
    I want to leave blank if there is no excerpt rather than displaying the full description.if there is no excerpt defined, the full description is displayed.
    well it only works well when event contains excerpt
    Please do the needful it cause the problem and showing two times event description when there is no excerpt
    does anything related to settings.
