_ywapo_meta_data not being saved with order item meta

    I’m having an issue where the selected add-ons are not being saved with orders. They don’t appear on the order confirmation page, the order confirmation email, the new order notification email, or on the order page in WP Admin.

    When I look in the database in the wp_woocommerce_order_itemmeta table, the meta field ‘_ywapo_meta_data’ is not present for the affected order item.

    Do you know why this might be happening? The affected product is here:

    In order to first check if there is any conflict preventing our plugin to add the meta data, please check if you still can replicate your issue having:

    • Just WooCommerce and our plugin enabled.
    • A default theme like Storefront

    Let us know if the problem persists.

    We determined that the visitor was adding the product to the cart from a custom search results page which allowed them to purchase the item without selecting add-ons.
