Hi, I hope someone can help. I am just creating or attempting to create my first WordPress pages. It is currently located offline on my NAS while I play and find my way around. I got started and played around with a few pages. Just to get the feel. I then closed WordPress. When I subsequently logged in again, I got the home page but nowhere to login to acess the dashboard and other tools. so a two part question

Is my initial error recoverable and can I break into the work area

and how do I set the site up to alow me to login and have access to all the tools. If I remember my login name has administrator rights

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

  • The WordPress backend is always accessible via 2 paths:

    /wp-login.php
    /wp-admin/

If you append one of these to the domain that you call up to access your WordPress, you should be able to log in.
