I’ve been testing a few SEO plugins out on an old domain I’ve got, seeing which is the best option.
SEOPress has amazing reviews, but quite frankly I find it the least likely to survive with any confidence.
First problem – the page/post titles and meta.
No matter what I try, none of the options work (%%post-title%% %%site-title%%) and just leave me with the post title in the snippet. Which needs a refresh to see it working. Sometimes. As quite often it doesn’t work on a refresh either.
The only way I can get around this, is to put the titles in manually, which defeats the object, as the titles imported from Yoast were complete with post-titles and site-titles.
So what’s happening here? As at the moment, SEOPress looks like a basic reincarnation of AIOSEO but without the features but having a pretty menu to make up for it?
