A bit scared to upgrade to 1.1.19

    Read the changelog, so we can place the Maxmind gzip in the Uploads folder in the WordPress install and all is taken care of? That’s nice. Was actually somewhat of a hassle for me as this particular computer didn’t have anything on it to handle the gzip. MTN

    If you upgrade from v1.1.18 there is nothing to worry about. If you already uploaded the GeoIP.dat and perhaps GeoIPv6.dat to /wp-content/uploads/ then those files will be kept when upgrading.

    If you upgrade from v1.1.16 then you need to upload the 2 databases to /wp-content/uploads/ and if you upload them as gz files the plugin will try to unpack them.
