    Hello,

    I go to the page and see the map blank, however, I go to another page and go back to the previous page and I can see the map.

    In the console I get this error:

    jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined
    at cslinitMap (csl-map-functions.js:2:16)
    at HTMLDocument. (csl-map-functions.js:508:1)
    at e (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:27028)
    at t (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:27330)

    Sorry for the delay and hear about this issue! I just checked the page and was able to replicate the same issue on my end.

    Are you using any caching-related plugins? I just noticed that map-related scripts are not loading sometimes on page refresh. This is the reason for the blank map problem.

    See the comparison screenshot of the source code during testing on our end (i.e. one for a page without error and the other for a page with a blank map problem ) https://i.postimg.cc/XqHZyvtP/csl-support-blank-map-issue.png. So, when scripts are not added during the page load, it creates an error in the console which you shared with me on this ticket.

    Can you disable caching for map page and review again?

    We’ll review it by using Elementor and caching plugin and fix this problem in the new version of the plugin.

    Hi, thank you for your prompt reply.
    I have deactivated the cache plugin I had but I do not see the new update of yours, my version is 1.4.2.4

    With this version and without the cache active I still see a blank map.

    We have tried to set up a website with the Elementor plugin and GeneratePress theme to replicate this issue. But, it works fine on our end.

    Which caching plugin you are using on your site? Can you share plugin name. so, we can check with it on our end.

    Otherwise, we might need admin credentials for your website for further investigation. So, we can look into this in detail.

    Hello,

    I was checking what it could be because the cache plugin is deactivated and I think it could be because of the cookies plugin. The problem is that even if you accept the cookies you can’t see the map, you have to be on the map page to accept the cookies and then refresh the page to see it.

    Yes, you are correct. There is a problem with the cookies plugin. We just installed the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/complianz-gdpr/ plugin on our end and were able to replicate the same issue. If we deactivate the cookies plugin, then the map works fine.

    Can you communicate with a support team at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/complianz-gdpr/? You can try the https://complianz.io/custom-google-maps-implementation/ solution from their site to your theme if it works.

    Otherwise, we checked the alternative https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/cookie-law-info/ plugin which works fine without any problem.

    We’ll make our plugin compatible with the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/complianz-gdpr/ plugin in future releases.
