    hi,
Thanks for the plugin it works really well
I have encountered such a problem and would love a solution
I marked 2 categories that I do not want to be included in the search and they really are not found except when I am looking for a space or empty search
I would love a quick solution

    thanks again

Could you please show me an example of this on your site.

I think the reason this happens is that a blank search term can’t really be searched and then it just displays all the posts by date – i.e. similar to viewing your blog posts

this is when a am searcing for the term C#
    https://staging2.entrypoint.co.il/?s=C%23&post_type=post
this is for a empty term
    https://staging2.entrypoint.co.il/?s=&post_type=post
in this is for a space term
    https://staging2.entrypoint.co.il/?s=+&post_type=post
I also think that is the reason?
The question is whether there is a way to change that?

When there is an empty search term – which would be blank or space, the plugin doesn’t do any changes to the default search query of WordPress.

This would end up basically ignoring that the plugin exists. Is there a reason you’re seeing blank or spaces only in your search results.

I am thinking of situations where someone would search for an empty term.
I do not want him to see this results

What do you see when the plugin is disabled?

You’ll likely need to do a custom function for this as the plugin will just ignore blank searches in order to not unnecessarily override WP
