• Hello, I was using version 0.78 of the plugin and I didn’t have any problems. After installing the 0.80 update, the comment section of my custom homepage started to appear. I’ve already closed comments, but the comment section still appears at the bottom. There was no such problem before the update. This plugin is the best comment plugin I’ve ever used. But please fix this bug immediately, I don’t want to search another comment plugin like this.

Hello, closing comments is now really closing them, it just removes adding new comment form, replies and edits.

What I would suggest is to remove comment template from such pages if possible.

If not, I would add special options (from AnyComment) per page and post to close comments completely.

    What do you think?

    Thanks for your fast response!
It would be great if we have an option in WordPress post/page editing page called “Remove comments completely” under AnyComment Settings title to remove comments section completely from a post or page.

I made an example by editing html: https://i.hizliresim.com/v642MR.png

    Hello,
When will you publish the update?
My website’s homepage looks too bad and complicated.

Also I want to make another suggestion.
The rating section is great but looks too simple. Users don’t even see it. That’s why I rating to my own post ??
It would be great if you improve this rating section a little more.
For example, you can add text such as “Rate this post”. Also it would be much better if we can customize this text from Anycomment settings. Then I would write “Rate this mod” for my site.
    Example for this suggestion: https://i.hizliresim.com/YQ4vVD.png

I am not sure about the concrete date, but it will be quite soon.

I do not have any problem with rating, as you can see by the demo page of AnyComment, many people are using it.

How did you find out that people do not see it?

Translating texts within the plugin requires some kind of elegant solution as some of the websites have multisites enabled or one websites with multiple languages.

This is probably going to be implemented a bit later.

Btw, link you provided gives 403 to me. You probably allowed only your IP address there.

I don’t have a problem with the rating too. But I think you can improve it a little more.
Approximately 800 people visit my site per day. And there are a lot of commentators. I’ve been using this plugin for 2 weeks, but only 1 or 2 visitor have rated my posts.
I only recommend that you can add a text like “Rate this post” to the left or to the top of the rating stars.
Also you can add hover color for the rating stars. So, it will look better when moving the pointer over the stars. It looks so simple in its current form.

I’ve also uploaded the example pictures to my site. Now you should be able to see them.

Also I found another issue. In Turkish part of my website (tr.frkn64modding.com)

There is a problem with the translation of the “Edit” text in Turkish language.
It should be “Düzenle” but it shows “D&#252zenle”. Looks like a Turkish character issue.

I see, I will have a look at rating with designer once again. Stars supposed to be colored once you hover over specific rating. Once you rated the post, they will be colored again. I think this is a bit incorrect, so I will have a fix for this as well. Thanks again.

Regarding “Edit”, it looks like it is translated this way, see this.

Maybe you can adjust this accordingly if you can and editor of this language can accept it. We got Turkish translation very recently, so it is possible that there are quite a few incorrections.

    Hello again..
Man, it’s been a month since I’ve created this topic. And you didn’t make any updates to the plugin to fix this issue. I just want to completely remove the comment section from my custom homepage. Image
Do you have a solution for this? Or do you think updating the plugin for this issue?
If not, I’ll start looking for another comment plugin.
