• Hello!
I’d like to be able to press a button and have it input a certain bit of things into the text for a post.

So like an example. Press the button, it pops up with an imput, you type it in. The next prompt comes up and type it in

    then formats itself in a

    Issue
    Issue
    Issue
etc. (Issue being the prompt that I’d like)

So basically I’d love to do this myself, but I’m not talented lol and dont know what direction to go to to even start! So if someone could throw me a bone on it and tell me where there’s a little bit of learning material for this type of thing, that’d be great.

If there’s one already, lemme know?

    Thank you!

  • Well, you could set up custom fields instead in your template which calls various custom fields you want to add per post. Press the button to update and it would be included in the post when published. Good thing here is that if there was no custom field added from Write Post, it won’t affect the front end if coded right.

I remember reading about Custom Fields plugin which might make it easier for you, have to check it in WP Plugins.

Ahhh Thank you so much! Sorry it took me a while to get back.

I will check out both those options, srsly that’ll help me out like you cant imagine if I can get either to work xD

You could consider looking up More Fields to help manage your custom fields.
