    Hi,

I created two new categories and tried to add them to the feed.
But only one got added and the other one hasn’t.

    https://prnt.sc/tunzcl

I’ve been trying all day to regenerate feed but unsuccessfully – products from that one category don’t add to our feed.

Will be grateful for any advice.

    Hello @ipravdich,

Can you confirm that both new categories are displayed and selectable in the “Category Mapping” table on the Edit Feed page?

Can you also make sure that both categories have “Published” products in them if you open the Products->All Products page and filter on these categories?

    Hello, Michel

Yes, both new categories are displayed and selectable in the “Category Mapping” table on the Edit Feed page https://prnt.sc/tuwo4o And both were selected, but only one has added to the feed.

Also, both categories have “Published” products in them. Here is the link of the category that doesn’t add – https://pos-sector.net/product-category/pos-komplekty-dlya-obschepita/ There are 11 published products in it.

OK, in that case it is possible that the characterset you’re using is causing issues. Can you send me the exact names of both categories so that I can test them here?

    Sure, here they are:

    POS-комплекты для торговли
    POS-комплекты для общепита

Did several tests with these categories but unfortunatelly I can’t replicate the issue. It just works here.

Could you make a screenshot of the rest of the feed settings? Maybe I can spot something that could cause this issue.

All settings look ok so I don’t think there is any cause there.

Could you make a new test feed with only the default settings and only both categories selected and see if that generates ok?

It worked. Test feed with only the default settings and only both categories selected was generated correctly and contains products from both categories.

Strange. Could you build up this test feed to the same setup of the failing one and regenerate it after each change to see when it goes wrong? I would suggest as a first step to add the remaining categories.

So add one of the categories you need and regenerate it, check the feed and add the next categorie and regenerate it, check the feed again and so on till the feed is going wrong.

Oh well, the problem is solved.
It wasn’t about a certain category at all. Products wouldn’t add because of the 100 items limit. I should’ve read more carefully the plugin description ??
Sorry for stealing your time, Michel.

Ah, that explains it :-). Had not thought of that myself.

Well, no problem @ipravdich, I’m glad the mistery has been solved.
