Good afternoon. I have a problem with woocommerce categories and their structure. I wanted to know if you can tell me what to do, or can you recommend a plugin that can solve this problem? Can I make two or more child categories have the same parent? I want to give an example of my problem : I have a main category – “professional chemistry”, this category is the parent for two child categories under the brand name “novelguard” and “dec prof”, two brands have product categories “cleaning products”, I would not like to do two more child categories for each brand type “cleaning products novelguard” and “cleaning products dec prof” this is bad for seo I will then get duplicates you know? You can make the category “cleaning products” have two or more parent categories “novelguard” and “dec prof” I hope I explained clearly?

I found this branch on wordpress it led me to your plugin, I hope it is correct and I was not mistaken.

    Hi @vovaclean ,

This feature is not supported by WordPress.

If you use our plugins to do so, it’s like a hack. We have MB Term Meta extension which helps you add custom fields to terms (where you can add a field “taxonomy_advanced” to link to other terms as parents). You can also use MB Relationships to set relationships between terms (like parents-children).

However, that’s only for making relationships. Using the relationships (like outputting on the front end) is totally depends on your needs.
