A couple of minor issues

My client would like to replace the “page” icon (next to the page title) on the added pages with an image. Is this a possibility?

Second, they would like to use one of the inner pages as a blog and leave the main page static. However, when I adjust the settings to allow that everything disappears from the home page. Is there a way around this?
