I have installed WooCommerce 7.0.1. After upgrading to WordPress 6.1, I got the message that reads, “There has been a critical error on this website”, and I cannot access my site. But the WordPress dashboard is fine. If I deactivate the WooCommerce plugin, then the site works. I tried to change different themes, but it didn’t help. Can someone advise me if you know the solution? Thank you.

Same thing is happening to me. I found changing my PHP from 8.0 to 7.4 fixes the issue but I rather stay on 8.0.

@gunas1867 Thanks for the reply. I tried changing 7.4, but it doesn’t work for me.

    Hi @aungau

I understand you are receiving this error message:

There are several articles on the web that explains how to fix this issue, please check There Has Been a Critical Error on This Website.

If that does not work, please share a copy of your site’s System Status? It is under WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    Hi @gunas1867
I understand you received the same error message, please note the error message could be the same, but the site configuration could be different. Please create your own thread for your issue, we’ll be glad to help.

Finally, I’ve found MailPoet plugin creates the issue. I deactivated the MailPoet plugin then I get the site back to normal.

    Hi @aungau

I’m glad you were able to find out the culprit of the issue here which was the MailPoet plugin.

It would be best to reach out to the developers of the plugin for further assistance here:

    Thanks!
