A critical error message appears when scanned with wordfence, this is allegedly because the last plugin update was 10 months ago, and wordfence suggests deleting this plugin. Please help

If the 10 month timeframe is the criteria there is nothing that needs or should be done.
I suspect there will be no update to push the updated date

I am not sure if the 10month timeframe is the only problem at the moment. Currently Wordfence, iThemes Security Pro and Plesks’ WordPress-Toolkit announce a XSS-Vulnerability.

see this topic in its WP Support thread.

Known vulnerability was found in Jobs for WordPress (job-postings) plugin: ‘WordPress Jobs for WordPress plugin <= 2.5.10.2 – Cross Site Scripting (XSS)’

Hi. Unfortunately the update causes a fatal error and cannot be activated.
