a critical error on website.

it gives me error message ‘There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’ but there is no instructions in my email.

i installed a new plugin and activated and tried using it and it caused that error. i wan to go and delete the plugin folder but am wondering if i have to wait for the email cos probably the plugin has caused caused changes to the core WordPress files and deleting the folder wont help.

Also what do i do to get the instructions. because i have even changed the email address via phpmyadmin and tried reloading the website but still no email recieved
