A few different issues

3) For the Monster Insights text, could copy paste a bit of the text so I can search on page, via the dev tools or anywhere else so I can see what you mean?

1) If you don’t sync the policy you can copy/paste the policy in Elementor, and remove the current shortcode, or block you’re using.

To test Edge on mobile, what phone would I need? Is this Edge for Android?

To answer :

1) About the “data/selector button”, I’ve done it another way, resolved.

But about Edge, it’s still the same ! (yes Edge for Android). Tested on OnePlus 5 & 3 (rooted phones), samsung A5 (2017) and my sun’s Dodgee. The titles, some images, including a gallery (but not as intended), and the buttons do appear, but NO cookies consent and NO text (paragrphs) ! The same happens with the no-name browser included into my custom Rom on OnePlus 5, I’ve checked with playstore no-name browsers, some work, other not (with this exactly same issue).
-> unresolved.

2) I think I know what happened : I’m used to look at my phone horizontally. So I gave consent (for functionnal cookies only) and afterwhile had a look vertically. In this position, the “manage/revoque consent button” does not appear! Must take it back to horizontal position.
One more thing I’ve noted today : it’s so with all the phones mentionned, BUT the Dodgee (with chrome browser) on wich the banner pops up, but after having given consent, the “manage consent button” doesn’t appear nor vertically nor horizontally… You can only see it when you check the box “see as computer”.
So NO “manage button” vertically -> unresolved (+ Dodgee?)

3) I had to look for hours today to find the text back, in fact it’s in the footer, so I don’t think it has something to do with your plugin, shall ask in the monsterinsight forum. For information, that’s the text : https://www.cjoint.com/c/JFbntQlwGL5

4) Finally to fill in the recaptcha checkbox without consent on pc, I couldn’t replicate it today too… And I don’t remember what browser I used… Well, seems ok.

Conclusion : 2 problems yet : no “manage/revoque button” vertically on mobile, and on Edge (Android) browser + some no-name browsers, it looks like cookie(s) is (are) blocked preventing text to being shown (+ no banner at all)…

Too late to edit, sorry.. But I’ve just realized,

Point 2) because I saw on my sun’s Dodgee phone (a cheap one) that neither vertically nor horizontally the ‘manage/revoque consent’ button shows up, I realized that the screens of the (other) mentionned mobiles are well above the resolution of the mobile breakpoints. So I think it’s well the mobile view on wich that button doesn’t appear… The same happens when I reduce a computer window. Only the banner pops up the first time you visit.

The #top button seems to push the banner a bit to the left.

Looking at the text, I guess it only appears when you are logged-in. Why this happens, I don’t know.

1) I’ve downloaded Edge a few days ago from playstore.. Have double checked, latest version (v-45.03.4.4958). And it does NOT work.. About the scroll button it does appear bit does not work ! 3) Well, no, it does shows up even when I’m not logged in.. Maybe a cache issue, have to investigate. Have still to ask on their forum.

(and today I could on another computer replicate the filing of recaptcha with only functionnal cookies… Firefox on HP laptop)

So you’ve managed most of my problems, I wonder why you don’t have the issue with Edge android browser… Strange, here it doesn’t work on any of the 4 mobiles tested.. I don’t know if it could be linked but the google search console told me I had some problem with my mobile view (“text too little/can’t be read well”…) I’ve make my typo greater, didn’t change nothing ; then I’ve reduced some pictures (because of the screenshot google shows) and this had the job done… But I’ve not finished. Strange affair with Edge…

2) Easiest way is to add it under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

For #1. We check our compatibility with browsers and mobile phones with Browserstack, unfortunately they do not support Edge for Android, and I used my own phone for this purpose. I will try with another phone tomorrow.

You can try clearing your browser cache, or use the inPrivate window. You can also try disabling the transitions of your text and see if this helps, I believe the new Edge is based on Chromium so it shouldn’t be an issue, but you never know.

So the issue with Edge wasn’t solved, until today. There was a update in playstore (I’ve read the changelog that doesn’t show anything that could be related but..), and now it works fine !
I don’t know why, but the problem is resolved.
