• Hello

I′m trying to make a blog page with wordpress to integrate into my website but i have a few doubts about getting this right since i didn′t use PHP, just HTML and CSS.

I′ve installed WordPress in Wampserver successefully but came across a few things.

    – In the “Integrating wordpress into your website tutorial” It says to create an index.php file. Does this mean i need to change my index.html to index.php?

    – I have moved my website folder into the “www” folder of Wamp so it recognizes my new domain and wordpress blog https://mywebsite/blog. Or is this not needed?

I just wanted to make a blog.html page using WordPress but it looks like i have a mountain to climb.

    Appreciate your help on this.

Yes – if you you want that page to display your WP Posts and/or Pages.

Yeah – That looks good. I would recommend starting from a theme, especially if you’re new to WP, and customizing it. There are a lot of benefits to using a quality starter theme, there are lots to choose from, and it can save you a lot of time.

Ok, i′m scratching my head with this. The tutorial doesn′t feel good for begginers so let me try to explain my project better.

I have several HTML pages with an already made layout that i don′t want to change. What i want from wordpress is to have the blog.html page to display from it.

    I have index.html, tips.html, geolocation.html, blog.html, videos.html , trains.html, countries.html

It seems i just need the blog.html page to be blog.php and to show blog posts made in wordpress in this page.

Bryan Purcell, i may customize a wordpress theme to look like my website of course the problem now i to have this blog.php page showing in my website.
