A few little things
-
Using the Sketch theme. The site: RobinsPortraits.com
I want to tighten the site up a little bit. Right now on desktop, I have two “PORTFOLIO” labels on the page. The top is the Portfolio navigation button. I may add more buttons for “about” , “blog” or “contact” pages at some point, so I don’t see the need to get rid of it completely. However, I would like to hide it. I’d definitely like to get rid of the lower label, since I don’t see the point of that, at all.
I’d like to get the top of the header to the top of the browser. If I play the “inspect elements” game, I can toggle the top margin on and off. That would get me 32 pixels closer to my goal, if I could even find that in the style.css editor. Even if I could find it, there’s still a long ways more to go.
On mobile, I want the margin on the sides of the images to be narrower. Ideally I’d have the images touching the very phone bezel. At the least, I want to minimize the border to the distance that there is between images.
When I share the page on facebook, the image it chooses to load is the first image in my portfolio, not the header of the site. I suppose this would be desirable for most situations, I just wanted to know if there was a way to change that temporarily. If not, I was planning on taking a self portrait with my camera, anyway.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I hope this isn’t too many questions, but I’ve looked.
